What do we use cookies for?

Some cookies are necessary for the full and proper functioning of the website. We always place these necessary cookies, provided that your browser settings allow this. This also applies to analytics cookies. These cookies help us analyse the use of our website, improve its performance, and track whether advertisements have resulted in the completion of a form.

We also use so-called tracking cookies to make the website more user-friendly and personalised, and for advertising purposes. Tracking cookies are only placed if you give us your consent. By clicking “On” in response to the relevant consent request, you grant permission for their placement. We use these cookies to obtain more information about our visitors and to create visitor profiles.

In addition, third parties may place tracking cookies when you visit our website. Sanal works with external parties that use cookies to display advertisements tailored to your interests or to provide certain functionalities. Below, you can read which parties, in addition to Sanal, place cookies and for what purposes.

Sharing of personal data by Sanal with third parties

We share your personal data with suppliers and third parties if this is necessary for the performance of an agreement or to comply with a legal obligation. In certain other cases, we may also provide your personal data to third parties, but only with your consent.

We do not create profiles based on user behaviour for marketing purposes, nor do we track your data across multiple devices.

Adwords remarketing pixel

This website uses Google’s retargeting features. This enables us to specifically approach visitors who have previously shown interest in our website with advertisements tailored to the individual and their interests within the Google Search engine and the Google Display Network.

This is done on the basis of a cookie, which does not store personal data but does register previous use of the website. This cookie is stored on your computer or mobile device. More information about how Google handles your data can be found here.

Facebook pixel

This website uses a Facebook Pixel, an analytics tool provided by Facebook. This tool helps us analyse our website, allowing us to improve the Facebook experience of our users. The information generated by this cookie is transmitted to and stored on Facebook’s servers.

Facebook uses this data to compile aggregated reports on website usage for all users, not linked to your IP address. The cookie stores information such as which Facebook users visit the website and which pages they view. In addition, the pixel tracks user behaviour after viewing or clicking on a Facebook advertisement. In this way, Facebook evaluates the effectiveness of advertisements.

Thanks to the pixel, we are able to display advertisements on the Facebook platform to visitors of our website. The data we receive are anonymised and do not provide us with any further information about your identity as a user. However, the data are stored and processed by Facebook in such a way that they may be linked to a specific user profile. Facebook may therefore use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with Facebook’s privacy policy.

This website uses the LinkedIn Insight Tag and Conversion Tag, two analytics tools provided by LinkedIn. LinkedIn uses cookies, which are text files placed on your computer to help us analyse the website and improve your LinkedIn experience.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is transmitted to and stored on LinkedIn’s servers in Ireland. LinkedIn uses this data to compile aggregated reports on website usage for all users, not linked to your IP address. The cookie stores information such as which LinkedIn users visit the website and which pages they view.

In addition, this pixel tracks user behaviour after viewing or clicking on a LinkedIn advertisement. In this way, LinkedIn evaluates the effectiveness of advertisements. Thanks to the pixel, we are able to display advertisements on the LinkedIn platform to visitors of our website.

The data obtained are anonymised for us and do not provide us with any further information about your identity as a user.
